While these are incredibly delicious and fun to cook with, they are endangered in some areas. If you can find them, buy ramps that are sourced responsibly, or if you’re lucky, sourced locally from a neighbor. This helps protect their population (it takes a long time for their growth cycle to begin!) and makes sure we can have them for a long time. 

Ramps are incredibly concentrated with flavor, so it’s easy to only buy what you need. 4-6 ounces per recipe is plenty 💚

HELLO I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT 🙂 After years of bein HELLO I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT 🙂 After years of being asked, we finally have… bowls! My limited-run collaboration with @jonopandolfi is now live, featuring two custom styles of their banded Coupe Alaska bowl, a bowl I’ve loved for a long time, and now I’m so excited to share it with you 💚

I have run this account for over five years and have never done a product launch. I know I wanted to wait to do something that felt right, something that my audience was requesting (and was excited about!!) and that I was excited about, too. Plateware felt like the obvious answer.

I wanted to work with @jonopandolfi for my first product collaboration because:
1. They are the best bowls I’ve ever owned, and I swear the Coupe Alaska bowl is the perfect shape for anything.
2. Jono Pandolfi started as a restaurant supplier, meaning they know how to make things that are both incredibly durable and beautiful. 
3. Everything from Jono is hand molded or pressed, glazed and hand-painted. It makes each piece supremely special. And I like to fill my kitchen with things I know are well crafted.
