Pesto isn’t just for summer and this Kale & Rosemary Pesto Pasta is proof of that. It’s made very similarly to a traditional pesto, just without the pine nuts, and swaps the usual basil for kale and rosemary. The result tastes like fall in pesto form – herby, savory, lemony, and so, so good tossed with pasta.

The kale is what gives this pesto its color and texture, while the rosemary brings a big amount of flavor. Even though we aren’t using a ton of it, it has the same kind of stage presence here that basil has in a traditional pesto.
